There are only two groups in the US that do this...the National Weather Service and the US Navy..<br /><br />Paul..in fact, NWS forecasts do get and use the model output of other nations. And the US Navy was thinking of adopting the UK Met Office Model. You would think that particularly after the recent demise of the auto & banking industry, the bureaucrats would realize that closed-source, proprietary thinking and systems will quickly turn you into a dinosaur.
