In an episode of Doogie Howser he was challenged to go beyond the models and trust his instinct. Being a dedicated professional in the realm of pnw meteorology, how much leeway do you feel you have to use professional judgement as opposed to just reciting and reading model ensembles?Joshuahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07140290716136786716noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7478606652950905956.post-91463634422149114892016-12-07T09:22:48.437-08:002016-12-07T09:22:48.437-08:00Cliff's Blog from January 23, 2009 explains th...Cliff's Blog from January 23, 2009 explains the Fraser in bare terms.Dianehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06073318399624595036noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7478606652950905956.post-54081441850033441162016-12-06T21:15:57.544-08:002016-12-06T21:15:57.544-08:00Read his book :)Read his book :)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15450269020923122783noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7478606652950905956.post-79839562327982864582016-12-06T20:26:09.509-08:002016-12-06T20:26:09.509-08:00Cliff, thanks for letting us know when you'll ...Cliff, thanks for letting us know when you'll be updating. Thus the outflow winds often keeps areas near the ends of the valleys cooler and leads to snow and freezing rain events when other areas are already seeing rain. If there is enough cold air and pressure these winds can extend much further, well into Washington.Timhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06372208818347034610noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7478606652950905956.post-51480937972737961472016-12-06T16:06:26.103-08:002016-12-06T16:06:26.103-08:00Seems like we've got a whole bunch of snow lov...Seems like we've got a whole bunch of snow lovers who would love some positive news about potential snowfall in western Washington.
