That proved to be a bit too much on a nice sunny afternoon so I took the modern route, the internet. I found on wikipedia a nice chart showing the relationship between temperature, relative humidity and dew point. I had thought that there was a unique relation between dew point and relative humidity but the chart clearly showed otherwise. Now I understand.
