Spectacular and very unusual for any thunderstorms here. It was more like midwest storms! I'd love to hear about what happened.wynneforplantshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11241292689283245393noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7478606652950905956.post-45176528437076877252020-06-08T09:34:46.413-07:002020-06-08T09:34:46.413-07:00Has this been one of the colder May June's on ...Has this been one of the colder May June's on recordAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14734354776749469374noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7478606652950905956.post-45093862230679972122020-06-07T00:45:03.060-07:002020-06-07T00:45:03.060-07:00I made my way from Deception Pass to Seattle Sat a...I made my way from Deception Pass to Seattle Sat afternoon -- winding ny way thru Mount Vernon, Bryant, Arlington, and Everett, among other spots. The convection I encountered was quite robust -- one dropped marble sized hail for more than 10 minutes, and another showed radar returns in excess of 70 db for a while over Everett. I don't know just how to compare it to last week's event, but any one of those cells would have been unusually strong for W Washington, and I personally experienced four of them in the space of two hours!Foohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03929520923930532337noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7478606652950905956.post-69255808019745907392020-06-06T18:07:24.291-07:002020-06-06T18:07:24.291-07:00Saturday around 5pm....a 20 minute furious burst o...Saturday around 5pm....a 20 minute furious burst of hail fell on Everett...very intense, and it left a beautiful, temporary coating of fake snow over everything!...then just rain for awhile...now 6:30, and more dark clouds are lurking around...I love the power of Nature!BTW, very little thunder...good call Cliff!curbozer boomerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17736912740094052121noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7478606652950905956.post-9442509208090263142020-06-06T13:42:19.597-07:002020-06-06T13:42:19.597-07:00I wonder where a likely good place to hike tomorro...I wonder where a likely good place to hike tomorrow might be, not rain free but some sun breaks.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14902353893234330505noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7478606652950905956.post-77055911931546000552020-06-06T13:02:17.719-07:002020-06-06T13:02:17.719-07:00yes, some in bellevue yesterday too. some heavy ha...yes, some in bellevue yesterday too. some heavy hail also.sebodoghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18066358448072548127noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7478606652950905956.post-89367963398643436772020-06-06T10:37:45.241-07:002020-06-06T10:37:45.241-07:00Bit of thunder and lightning rolled though the Por...Bit of thunder and lightning rolled though the Port Townsend area Friday afternoon.<br />Glennhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16509609643029842132noreply@blogger.com
