Maybe the winds aloft haven't been strong enough fot a good convergence.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17284402843693197005noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7478606652950905956.post-79238538416880848852013-03-20T12:36:31.364-07:002013-03-20T12:36:31.364-07:00Pretty windy right now in downtown Seattle. For the first time I can feel the building moving slightly in the heavier gusts.ryamkajrhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08268910924570439599noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7478606652950905956.post-13071576669850637892013-03-20T10:06:47.860-07:002013-03-20T10:06:47.860-07:00Cliff,

Thats also what I recall happening earlier in December when a similarly powerful storm hit us here in the northwest. You wrote about it here: http://cliffmass.blogspot.com/2012/12/big-storm-but-worst-south-of-seattle.html

is this a predictable occurance? It seems common, if so why is that?

thanks for your insight and amazing work!NateLMPhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17018906593548986591noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7478606652950905956.post-53962934057511592672013-03-20T09:43:04.559-07:002013-03-20T09:43:04.559-07:00FROPA through Downtown Portland in the last few mi...FROPA through Downtown Portland in the last few minutes (apparently) with no marked increase in rain or wind, evidenced by the now complete lack of both and a clearing sky. Quite boring, actually.

Just another typical mid-November-esque day, except we're on the wrong side of Christmas.

Have fun up North, we got the shaft yet again down here.W7ENKhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15950108961058228594noreply@blogger.com
